WHO THEY LOVE
I think I'm putting too much thought into what I want to photograph so I'm getting behind. It's more about how I use my camera and getting my love ones involved. Well a photo opportunity presented itself last night... I had my camera on auto.... dun dun dun... but, I'm glad I captured this moment.
Look at my little man staring at himself through his mirror! I was cleaning up his toys and heard him laughing... I looked on his play gym and saw him holding the mirror, laughing. He LOVES looking at himself through a mirror. We have mirrors on our closet doors upstairs and he just loves looking at us in it. Even when he's fussy... I can bring him to the mirror and it puts a smile on his face.
Now back to figuring out how to blur the back ground of my photos... stay tuned!
That's a great picture! It's funny how much babies love mirrors. Even now Addison will walk up to her closet and make funny faces at herself in the mirror.
ReplyDeleteHi Brooke, I'm a college friend of Grant's, he knew me as Leigh. Anyway, I thought I would help to point you in the right direction. You won't be able to blur the background unless you have a type of camera called a dSLR (or digital single lense reflex). It's the big bulky cameras that were once reserved for professional photographers and are now becoming a favorite "push" gift. THe reason is because it's the only type of camera that will allow you to freeze motion in natural light AND the best part is that it gives your that gorgeous blurry bokeh (photo speak for blur or in Japanese). ANyway, once the little guys start moving, its the best camera for that purpose. I wish I had one when my man was born in 08, because all his baby shots are sub par in comparison to what I can do now. Well, I hope that helped a little. Feel free to ask me anything about photography. I'm not a pro. but a definite techno geek. Your son reminds me very much of mine, as they are both off the charts. Congratulations! BTW< could you tell Grand I think I saw his bball bud Jared the other day. Funny.
