Reflecting on 2009

What a year Grant and I had! We are very fortunate to have such wonderful families and friends to support and love us as we grow as a couple. We are looking forward to another year together!

Here are a few things that occurred this year for The Stones:

*Got married!
*Went to Vegas with friends!
*Grant turned 30!
*Wedding hopped for The Rohr's, The Gleeson's, and The Levenshus's.
*Several Temecula and Santa Barbara wine tasting trips (Like that isn't important?).
*Left Integra Electronics after 5 years with the company.
*Started Haute Affairs (www.hauteaffairs-customevents.blogspot.com).
*Started going back to Saddleback Church (Rich Warren is truly an amazing Pastor).
*Lot's of concert in the parks, stroll and savors, dinner parties, beach days.
*I turned 29!
*Traveled to the following places:
Boise, Idaho (around 5 times)
Annapolis, Maryland
Ocean City, Maryland
Las Vegas, Nevada
Palm Springs, California
Grant: went to Miami and Naples Florida, Nashville, Tennessee
Brooke: I took a road trip to Boise, Idaho: Stopped in Nevada, Arizona, Utah!
Honeymoon in ANITGUA!!!

Hope you have a great New Years Eve! Let's make Twenty Ten even better!

Christmas in Boise!

Christmas is my favorite time of year! Getting together with family and friends, reflecting on the year and being thankful for the birth of Christ and everlasting life!

This year Vicki (Grant's Mom) came up as well! It was such a pleasure having her! Wish Marty and Ashley could have made it... hopefully next year we can all be together! :)

Mom and Dad - Thank you for having us and for everything you do for us on a regular basis. We love you!
Vicki - We are so glad you came this year! My parents were sad to see you go and invite you to Idaho whenever you want to get away! Love you!

Grant and I are truly lucky to have such an amazing family.

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
Love and Cheers,
Brooke

Mom and I hard at work!

Walking into my parents home every holiday is really an incredible experience. My Mom is so talented. I have learned and continue to learn how to decorate from my mother. Here is the dinner party I helped with and some of the decorations in the house.
Love you Mom!

Belmont Shore Christmas Parade

Christmas parade tradition is going to The Levenshus Christmas party and then move down the street to watch the parade and hang out with friends.

Here are some pictures from the night:

Happy Holidays!

Antigua Mon!

We're back! What an amazing honeymoon (belated) and vacation in general. We certainly had a memorable time! My favorite part other than relaxing with Grant was taking the circumnavigation cruise around the island. We were able to snorkel twice and visit small islands that surround Antigua as well. I found that I'm actually good at tennis and can beat most guys at pool... however, I struggled with snorkeling at first. I will admit... I am NO fish! haha. Caribbean food is spicy and flavorful! And we can’t wait for our next adventure! Here are some pictures from our trip! Enjoy!
Cheers,
Brooke
