Yesterday I went to the movies with some girlfriends and I was totally uncomfortable. I could feel my feet swelling up! My legs were even getting swollen! I probably shouldn't have ordered popcorn (and add my own helping of butter)! Pretty sure that pushed me over the edge! haha.
Here's the latest on the c-section:
I talked to the scheduler yesterday and here are the details for my c-section. September 2, 10am. I have to get to the hospital at 8am to check in and go through my pre-op. If Jake decides to move the night before we will still cancel the surgery. :) If not, that will be his birthday!! Grant will be living with 2 virgos! My 30th birthday is September 13th... looking like a bottle of Vueve is in my future. ;)
20 DAYS UNTIL JAKE ARRIVES! I can't believe it!
Here is a quick preview of Jake's room. We still have finishing touches to add... but, here is the concept up his varsity/sports room.
We still need to hang the TV, pictures and take some of the last minute touches out of the boxes. I hope to have this all done by next week. Then I will take a panned out picture of the room. But, until then... here are some teasers!

How cute! You are too funny putting a t.v. in his room. I wanted to put one in Addison's room, but everyone gave me crap about it because of the t.v./children statistics, especially because I am a teacher. Lol! Luckily, Addison didn't really even watch cartoons until about 11 months! I love the sports theme. You will find that the quilt will either end up hung over the side of the crib (until he can reach it), on the wall, or in a closet or drawer. They are so cute, but serve no purpose! I can't wait to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteThe TV probably wont be used much. More for me to watch when I'm breastfeeding in the middle of the night. I plan on playing mellow music for the baby. I'm not big on babies watching TV either. :)
ReplyDeleteYour friend is right... the quilt serves no purpose! Next time around, I will save myself some money and just buy the bedskirt, bumper and sheet! The room looks cute, I can't believe he will be sleeping in that crib in a couple weeks!!
