Going to the races...
For Josh's 30th Birthday! Alexis threw Josh a birthday party at Los Alamitos Race Track. Everyone that went had to wear hat as well... however, not everyone did. ;) It was such a blast! I had great luck too! I hit 3 trifecta's as well as picking the winning horse 2 times! :) I can't wait to go back!
Happy Birthday Josh!

Halloween weekend...
We're back! What a fun trip!! It took 2 days to get to Idaho because we had to stop in Beaver, Utah due to snow. And then it took 2 days to get back because we stayed in Mesquite, Nevada.
I had such a blast hanging out with my family and trick or treating with Dylan! It was also very exciting watching Boise State win again! We even had a party where I was able to put my creativity to work! I made a table cloth as well as table runners that were like the football field. Hopefully Boise will continue to get better and play tougher teams every year so there is more validity to their standings in the BCS (can you tell I've been listening to commentators). ;)
Mom and Dad, thank you for having all of us! I'm so lucky to have parents as wonderful as the both of you. I can't wait to see you guys for Christmas!!

Ideeeho!
Super excited! Tomorrow I'm taking a road trip with my brother and his wife Ashley. We are leaving around 1pm and heading up to Idaho. From what I understand it's a 16 hour drive! Yikes! I usually fly everywhere... but, I thought this would be a fun trip. Grant is flying up over the weekend. The whole family will be treat or treating with Dylan as well! Can't wait to post more pictures from our trip!
DON'T FORGET TO WATCH BOISE STATE ON SATURDAY AS WELL!
Cheers,
Brooke

Taste of Los Al
Last weekend we went to The Taste of Los Alamitos with Josh and Alexis. We had a great time! The event raised money for the athletic department for Los Alamitos High School. There were several restaurants that participated and an awesome silent auction. Grant and I really enjoyed the basketball/football toss. Grant was the leader in the basketball... and I even made it on the board for Football!

Weekend activities....
Just wanted to update our blog on the life of The Stones...
Grant and I went to the Oktoberfest with Josh and Alexis on Friday night... Lots of Amazing authentic German food! Then Saturday night I arranged a night with our "couple" friends. We went to Tantalum for appetizers and drinks, and then we all went and saw "Couples Retreat" with Vince Vaughn. What an amazing weekend with friends. Today, Grant and I went to church and heard a wonderful service in regards to the power of prayer. I wanted to share a quick passage that stood out to me:
"Ask and it will be given to you: seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
Here are some pictures from our weekend.
God Bless,
