Spoiled son... already!

More baby gifts!

Our baby is already spoiled! This weekend while Grant and I were in Florida for Larry's wedding Ginny and LeeAnne gave Grant and I some presents for the baby!

One of Grant's favorite college sports teams are Oklahoma Sooners! Ren and Lee bought little booties and a OU t-shirt! Ginny and Dave gave us several baby boy bibs and cloths! And they even brought us a gift from Vicki! Grandma loves me! Super cute! Thank you so much for our gifts!

I couldn't help but purchase the next few items!

Destin, Florida

This past weekend we went to Destin, Florida for Grant's father's wedding. It was a lot of fun, and it was really nice seeing Ren, Lee, Ginny, and Dave! And also to spend time with Chelsea, Brett, and Kevin! Congrats to Larry and Marcine!

A few things for our baby...

I'm noticing It's really hard to stay out of the stores once you know what your having... I just had to pick up a few things...

1. I went to the Cal State Long Beach store on 2nd St! Grant is always giving me gifts for the baby so I wanted to do the same. Since Grant played basketball for CSULB I decided to get a few things for our baby boy!

2. My new favorite store is Rascals to Rebels in Rossmoor. I went there to buy a gift for my friend Kelley's shower and ended up buying the cutest argyle socks!

3. Stopped in to Old Navy to check out what they had... walked out with these: (only $6)

Today I'm going to Kelley's baby shower! So excited for her and Sean. I will post pictures later!

We're having....

A BOY!

A few friends of mine went to Ultrasound Medical Services in Costa Mesa for early detection of gender. They specialize in gender detection in 2D, 3D, and 4D. They have a 99% accuracy of detection. You may go anytime after 13 weeks. I was 14 weeks and 3 days when I did it.

Grant, my brother, and his wife were all there... Grant's and my main concern is a HEALTHY baby rather than sex. Even though I'd like to have a boy AND a girl! I have a girls name and a boys name already picked out (actually several of them). :) Such an exciting day yesterday! Can't wait to meet our baby boy!!

Just a typical Sunday!

Every Sunday Grant and I go to Sweet Jills for breakfast and then head to church. We go to Saddleback Church in Rancho Santa Margarita. http://www.saddleback.com/ Here is our view on the way up to church:

After Church Grant and I went to Ontario to look at furniture. My brother Marty and his wife Ashley met up with us and after we went to lunch... When we were walking out of the Mexican restaurant Ashley and I caught Marty and Grant fake salsa dancing! haha.

California is gorgeous. You have the beach, lake and mountains just a short drive away! Hope everyone had a great week!

I want to thank each and everyone of you that have sent Grant and I books! We are so lucky to have such amazing family and friends! Looks like we have plenty of information now! ;)

13 weeks!

Today the baby is the size of a peach!

We're....

PREGNANT!

My due date is 9.9.2010!

We found out when I was 6 weeks, and went in to the doctor within days of taking the test! We saw the heart beating right then and there! What a feeling it is to see that. We went back again at 8 weeks, and again today at 12 1/2 weeks. Today we actually heard the heart beat. We are extremely happy and feeling so blessed and fortunate for the opportunity to be parents.

I will keep my blog updated with pictures and status on how everything goes!
