Most of the time I either pureed what ever we were eating or cooked some of the veggies a little longer so they were soft enough to gum.

Your family is beautiful, by the way!Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13743730568923365784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7486352756691833805.post-82065282445242464262011-02-09T19:16:12.663-08:002011-02-09T19:16:12.663-08:00So...I obviously am not sure but I really like the...So...I obviously am not sure but I really like the website happybabyfood.comWhitneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06851297624536207292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7486352756691833805.post-43221570201750505212011-02-08T23:38:41.154-08:002011-02-08T23:38:41.154-08:00I already have a cuisnart and have made some food ...I already have a cuisnart and have made some food for my nephew and it was great- I used the mini cuisnart. I haven't made up my mind on the Beaba yet so I'm just using my Cuisinart and it works great.Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00402045992377955518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7486352756691833805.post-89201730444681929972011-02-08T13:47:42.464-08:002011-02-08T13:47:42.464-08:00I started Zach on rice cereal at 4 1/2 months and ...I started Zach on rice cereal at 4 1/2 months and after about 10 days we moved to stage 1 fruits and veggies. I made my own baby food as well and it was really easy. I have a Cuisinart food processor and it worked great, I didn't see the need to spend money on a specific baby food processor. The only thing I was a real stickler on was I didn't offer my kids anything other than breast milk until they were 6 months old. I didn't make my own food...I had the time, just not the desire. I did rice cereal for at least a month and then went with veggies, then fruits. I can't really remember much after that. It's a mommy moment that I chose not to stress about. It is the same as every other thing I am sure you are realizing as a momma: You do what works for you and you feel is best for your baby and just stand by it! You are doing such a fabulous job already so I'm positive whatever you choose will be what is best for your precious boy!Terrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13242696424021465133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7486352756691833805.post-2418943676122129972011-02-08T09:42:56.066-08:002011-02-08T09:42:56.066-08:00I just read a very interesting article from the Ne...I just read a very interesting article from the New Yorker (Feb 7, 2011)called, "The Peanut Puzzle" by Jerome Groopman all about food allergies and how the incidence in America has been increasing rapidly in the past 20 years...possibly due to when we feed our infants foods. So much research still needs to be done, but it's a great read.

Here's the link:
http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2011/02/07/110207fa_fact_groopmanChez Rohrshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06156846767670292824noreply@blogger.com
