I always was super alert when both my kids were that tiny! My daughter ran a fever when she was 10 months of almost 104.5 and it turned out to be pneumonia! When Addison had a fever it was 101 at the highest and I gave her a fever reducer, but when I called the doctor the next morning, they told me that when it's 101 or under, you don't want to get rid of it because that's the bodies way of fighting the virus. But anything over that means it hasn't started fighting it. I would have had Addison in our room as well if her fever were that high. I think you definitely did the right thing.
